Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or take the Hypercharged course, why we collect it, and the rights you have.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller for this website and the Hypercharged course is Immersive Design L.P., Zeppou 33, Athens 16675, Greece, VAT number EL803273673. For any privacy question or request, contact us at help@hypercharged.io.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the Course:
- Purchase details: your name, email address, billing country and order details. Payments are processed by Stripe (through its Link service), our merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details.
- Account and learning data: your login details, course progress and, if you submit one, your final project.
- Community data: your profile and anything you post in the community.
- Emails: if you join the waitlist or newsletter, your email address and whether you open our emails.
- Communications: messages you send us, for example support or refund requests.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and device type, used to deliver and secure the website.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To sell you the Course and give you access: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To send the newsletter and launch emails: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To secure the website, prevent fraud and improve the Course: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Course, under data processing agreements:
- Stripe (including Link): payments, receipts, invoicing, tax and payment support, as merchant of record;
- Circle: hosting the lessons, your account and the community;
- Substack: the waitlist and newsletter;
- Vercel: hosting this website;
- Umami: privacy-friendly website analytics (see section 6).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as you have access to the Course and for up to 12 months afterwards. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Greek tax law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits and see which pages are popular. Umami doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t collect personal data and doesn’t track you across websites; it records anonymous, aggregated information such as the page visited, referring site, browser, device type and country. We use it based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. The checkout, course and community platforms (Stripe, Circle and Substack) set their own cookies, which are described in their privacy policies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email us at help@hypercharged.io. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or with the supervisory authority where you live.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to keep your information safe.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email.
